Drinking Buddies walks a fine line between the mundane and the meaningful, but the actors walking it are top-notch.. The Farrellys had a golden chance to be creatively, satirically, usefully offensive -- and they wimped out.. Who among us doesn't need to be reminded now and then how dumb and hurtful it is to judge people based on how they look?.
