It's all quite fun to watch, thanks in large part to the script by Max Landis, whose ability to find humor in the middle of a crisis meshes well with Nourizadeh's kinetic directing style.. Key characters are admirably diverse, but the fast-paced tale is thoroughly predictable.. An amusing idea, but the ugly violence and weepy dramatics effectively kill any comedic buzz.. Eisenberg and Stewart have both found romantic partners with whom they have chemistry (some provided by controlled substances)...
